[8.51] Host choosing custom mode/game freezes

this was a couple days ago, but I was playing just a random fun game and chose custom. i picked 30k starting gold, tinker only, and upgrades set at 20 I believe...90% sure. After this a rectangular box the same as the boxes in which modes are chosen appeared in the middle of my screen. However, it had no options and was maybe an inch tall, same length as usual boxes. At this point the game didn't freeze for anyone else, as I saw them move around etc, but I could not move my screen, tank or do anything. Tried pressing escape but after a couple minutes gave up and the only way I could exit was to alt f4.

i hosted a 30k, level 20, only tinker, and bam! as soon as i hit "only tinker" i couldn't do anyting, i had to alt-f4 out of the game. i'm not sure if any of the other guys were affectied, it was a 5 player team for dark force vs a 1 player team for light force (we were just dicking around)


not as helpful, but earlier today, 2 guys said they also couldn't move in a normal game mode, they were on light force and said they couldn't even pick a tank.

btw: in the .50 version i've seen an ai get a frost robot when his team didn't have sufficient armor upgrades for it. i'm 100 percent positive of it. the ai was on my team

I maybe new to this forum, but at least I read whats been posted and what hasn't, before I go creating new topics

If you spent some time, and looked below, you would see this has been covered and that Exodus has fixed the problem.
