New Tank idea: Hunter

The aim of this tank is to hunt the other tanks. Contrary to the other one, all his skills are done for the purpose and this tank lacks of defensive abilities. Here are the stats of the tank:


Name: Hunter

Price : 6000
Type: Ground or air
Speed: 300
Hp: 5000

Skill 1: Teleport breaker
4%/8/12/16/20% Damage on mana
Countdown: 100/95/90/85/80
high cost in mana

Or

Skill 1; teleport disruptor
An ability that make that when a tank teleports in a certain area around the hunter it makes the tank being stunned during a certain time.
Range; 500/600/700/800/900
Stun; 0,25/0,5/0,75/1/1,25sec
Countdown; 160/155/150/145/140
(so if someone teleports to him, he gets stunned, or if he want to use the teleport to run from him, he gets stunned)


Skill 2: Net
Range: 900
200/400/600/800/1000 Damage on air tank (not per sec)
During:1sec/2sec/2sec/3sec/3.5sec
Countdown: 120sec/120/110/110/105


Or

Skill 2; Wall of fear
Range: 500/550/600/650/700
Countdown: 120sec/120/110/110/105
Effect; Create a sort of wall of smoke blocking the way (so the nemy would be block on a particular way and will have to turn around the obstacle to run or come)
Duration: 3sec/4/5/6/7sec
Size of the wall; 500/550/600/650/700



Skill 3: Ion laser shot
Range: 350
During: 5 sec

Damage per sec: 300/350/400/450/500 (the target must stay in range)
Countdown: 60/55/50/45/40

Skill 4: Basic canon

Skill 5 Ultima: Scuttle
Range: 100
The tank run into the aimed tank and a explosion occur
Effect on the hunter: -14%/-13/-12/-11/-10% life
Effect on the enemy:
-30/-50/-70/-90/-110 speed during 4 sec
Damage: 1000/1400/1800/2200/2600
Countdown: 160/150/140/130/120 sec

I don't like teleport breaker to be a skill of any tank and net is allready a skill and item, so i don't think this tank would fit with this skillset into bt.

Net:
Lvl1 power= 200*1*/60=3.33
Lvl5 power=1000*5/40=125

isnt that too imba?

And all abilities seems usefull and powerful. I dont think a tank should be so powerful.

With some rebalancing it might turn out ok, but isn't 20% of your opponents hp a bit too much for a teleport breaker ability that would cost nothing? Also, if you're going to have net as an ability, it probably shouldn't deal any damage whatsoever, that just makes it incredibly imbalanced (as horselance stated). Other than the balance problems, it seems like a good idea. Plus you got models, which could help your cause.
You may notice that some of my posts are somewhat disconnected in their ideas and don't really flow that well. That's because my mind drifts around like a jellyfish in a strong ocean current. You just lost the game.

This tanks doesnt have any skills against mass creeps.

All these models are rejected as potencial BT models

3 non warcraft like models...

That dwarftechworker tank isn't reviewed, but it's horrible thing I've seen already and it in model edior didn't like it.


Maybe call it Tracker Tank xD. And also net ability is used by scout already.

The Tank Cannon is like a 3000 GOld item too, so its no problem to take abilities, which are cheap consumables I think, but if this is a real hunter, why not change the teleport breaker effect arround, so it stuns the enemy by teleporting next to it ? Big Grin

(I only suggest, because that breaker usally is a defensive item not easy to use it offensive)

Another idea is to use the Hunterpack ability a bit weaker. That means a short teleport, maybe 500 till 800 Range (in 80Range steps) and then a speedbost of maybe 150 or 200 (or %) for 5,6,7,8,9 Seconds. You could combine it then with the first ability suggested ^^

idea:
Teleport disruptor works smth like that: when a tank teleports in your x range (800 - 1300) it teleports to a random point in your 1000-1500 range instead where it teleports. This can also be a ward and placed in a point.
