End Game Balancing

I was thinking about end game imbalances recently, and was wondering why certain things are allowed. First of all, why should anyone be allowed to buy/sell items in the enemy's base? It seems only fair that you should have to go back to your base to do that. Secondly, why are you allowed to build a factory in the enemy's base? If you can't teleport in to their base, or build towers/barricades from their ruins, why should you be able to build a CP there and teleport in?

I know that these things usually result in the gaming end quicker than if they were not in place, but on some level it kind of bothers me because it doesn't give the team being pushed back hardly any chance to recover. If the attackers couldn't teleport in or had to run out of the base to heal, I think it would make it more fair, especially when you have such long death timers in the end.
