When in the tinker only mode bots get other tanks, so the players get stuck in tinkers and the AI get better tanks.

Yes. Because AI cannot play with tinker. This is why it buys a tank. Do not play Tinker Only with AI.Smile

makes sense... the ai is more challenging like this anyways because you get less items (you have to take up 2/3 slots with hulls)
