This isnt a pro tactic but you will laught at least 5 secs guaranteed.
Buy a bomb and go to the middle control point. This is an important control point so you can expect that two enemies teleport there in 2 or 3 secs to kill you, but.... If you leave a bomb there, they will get a little "surprise", then you can take the control point safely (if you are not dead by the enemies and the bomb).
It works best if you wait that 2 enemy tanks are at two other control points, they will teleport the two of them because they have no time to write "i go" or "you go", both of them will go there to kill you.

Hmm not always 2 enemys teleport and sometimes noone can't teleport (they are to busy or dead) so you can kill yourself and you waste 3250 gold on it what is quite expencive.

If you wait the two players, then you can plant the bomb, they wont leave because they are killing you.
If you die, then other teem player (located at the goblin market) takes the point or finish the killing with special abilities of his tank if the bomb dindt do the job. (exactly this happened when i used this tactic, my friend waited at the goblin market, the two enemies where dead but we knew that they would revive before we take the control point, so when they revived and teleported to the middle they ate dust)
Sometimes you would give 3250 gold for the middle control point.
But this tactic is for recreational purposes, i dont want to win a game with this. :wink:

its fun, a bit risky etc, but fun.
i also captured the mid CP sometimes by teleporting in, planting a factory at it and letting my mates teleport in through CP teleport. also quite funny.

The bomb is expensive. I don't think that would be profitable tactic, but it will probably work out.

Well if you use it or not it might help and sameway it might not. It depends how the situation is (how much gold you have, how mush kills will you get etc).

Exactly what i said, though i would use it only in defence rather than offence. Bomb wont take a cp, but it will make enemies run from a cp therefore buying time.

Yes thats a great choice also. But like you said that bomb wount take CP then you can take it. But the only problem with def is that the range of bomb might be too short and they wount die. And after the tower is gone theres nothing to do. Btw the bomb explodion will take a bit time and they can easily escape. And using bomb for run-away is quite a waste... . And also if someone teles you might kill your teammate. And not all the time everybody have time to tele...sometimes this 5 secs wount matter.

Noo... the point in defence (bomb in cp tower) is not to kill, its only to buy time. Time is very very often important in defending a cp, buying 2 or 3 seconds more can save a critical cp. This is MUCH more important if you are doing really well, your respawn time will be higher and each death will give the enemy a great deal of opportunity for taking cps. This ridiculous idea of defending with a bomb will work *better* than in any other situation.
The only sure way to get your moneys worth for bomb in kills if inside the enemy base where there is the least amount of space to dodge. Otherwise, youll need some insane stun and teamwork to pull off an in-field bomb attack. Even attacking cp's with bomb rarely works.

Yes but if the enemys attack your CP you need to plant the bomb in last sec. If you fail to plant (your too late) then you need to get it back and it will be a problem. Also the question is that have you enough money to buy it. It might make you money but buying it will cost much. I think that a 3250 gp def is quite expencive but you may be lucky that the enemy may not come because they are afraid. The idea itself is not bad.

i didnt even know towers could plant bombs, if i understood you correctly. putting a bomb in a tower and having the tower plant it, that's just insidious and despicable :evil: . I LOVE IT :twisted: . I must try it myself. i dont think anyone checks the item slots of towers. HUGE waste of money buying a tower AND a bomb (which will probably destroy the tower) , but i bet you will get atleast one kill just b/c the guy is wondering what the hell is happening. (is anyone else think 30k hb) MWAHAHAHAHA :twisted:

The question is not about money. When you have a lot of money, it wont matter how much it costs. If the bomb buys you one second, allowing you to respawn and cp-tp to defend, well thats a success. How much it is worth is linked to how much that control point is worth - if you know its hard to take cp's from the enemy and its your last - well maybe its worth 4250 gold. Laser tower would help where the enemy can destroy a cannon tower before it plants for 1000 gold more.

And thats why it works in defense. How well it works depends on luck and the situation. You can also plant mines from a tower (limited range of course).
