I've played an AoS map where each team could have up to 6 players + computer creeps (DoE). I think this is possible in battle tanks as well. What about changing it so there can be up to 6 players pr team?

Well, I'm currently working on it, although I cannot give any assurance that this will make it into the map. But I'm not trying to get a 6vs6 map, I'll just leave the two slots open for observers. I'm also doing this, so it's not possible anymore to play as the force, using the host bots.
BT has always been a 5vs5 map and it's also balanced to be played this way. I won't make a 6vs6 map.

I'd really love to see referee/observer slots but I don't like the idea of 6on6 games. It's now possible to change your vote.
@TKF: The creeps now belong to the neutral players "neutral victim" and "neutral extra". This required quite some recoding.

i think btanks isnt balanced for 6 player, because the in mid there are double creeps spawned. with 6on6 there would be 2vs2 on each lane or 4vs4 on mid, which are both bad ideas imo

i think its good like it is with 1 on side lanes. its nice to have a 1on1 on the lanes and 3vs3 mid. it would make battle tanks too diffrent than it is now. its a bad idea imo,

While i can imagine some fun games 6v6 in some weird gamemodes with friends for the lulz, im really afraid that if btanks can be played 6v6, it will be played that way exclusively.
Most maps are played full house if possible, why should it be different? Also, BT is not balanced for 6v6. Its not fitting the lane characteristics etc., but will people care? Did they care that HB is not balanced? Observer slots ftw

It is always possible to fix it. i think its the thing, that there wouldnt be a 1on1 on the lanes anymore.
i payed a game yesterday, were a teammate came to me on the lane and cause of this there were also 2 enemys. so it was a 2vs2 on the lane and i couldnt play well. it was really no fun because: -i couldnt get enough creeps -there wasnt enough space for 4 players -when i tried to kill one, the other enemys snipered me out with his longrange. to the third point, i think longrange + lowrange would become a dangerous tactic because all battles in early game would be 2on2 and on 2on2 its not really bad 6vs6 is only for fun, but not for balanced gameplay, playable imo (like hb)

Why not make version A 5 vs 5 with 2 observers and version B 6 vs 6 ? I think it would make everyone happy, because it give a choice, do I want a normal game of 5 vs 5 or a fun game of 6 vs 6 ?
Personally I like the 6 vs 6 idea, it adds a well deserved change to the game and I think it could be even better than the old 5-5 with some careful adaptation. Maybe start off with a beta and we'll report any imbalances in gameplay or any bugs that may arise.

5v5 is enough. Somee tactics of players can be also destroyed through this: they wont work anymore. It will change alot from the game.

maybe make it like that:
in normal games etc. only 5vs5 + obs, but you can choose as custom mode 6vs6 best solution in my opinion
