SC2 release delayed to 2010

Blizzard officially announced yesterday that the game is delayed once again....

Today we announced that StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will not be ready for release by the end of 2009. Over the past couple of weeks, it has become clear that it will take longer than expected to prepare the new Battle.net for the launch of the game. The upgraded Battle.net is an integral part of the StarCraft II experience and will be an essential part of all of our games moving forward. This extra development time will be critical to help us realize our vision for the service.

Our mission is to develop games that deliver an epic entertainment experience. As part of that commitment, we will always take as much time as needed to ensure that our games and services meet the expectations of our players and the standard for quality that we set for ourselves as developers. As we work to make Battle.net the premier online gaming destination, we’ll also continue to polish and refine StarCraft II, and we look forward to delivering a real-time strategy gaming experience worthy of the series’ legacy in the first half of 2010.

We will share more details about the beta, Battle.net, and StarCraft II’s launch in the future. I wonder what the reason is. maybe SC2 is an ace in the hole they're saving to release when their market shares drop. If they're already making a ton of money and they think sc2 will cut into their other game's profits it doesn't make any financial sense to release it now.

Maybe they're already trying to plan out some schemes to secretly manipulate and control their next generation of players like a mistro does an orchestra to get exactly what he wants. If they don't drag out the release of their best ideas and guard them by charging maximum amounts of money they could burn out What would happen if all its competitors and players were to see the full potential of what blizzard has started to do with its wow and battlenet communities i wonder. I wonder if Blizzard is afraid of success. It seems like they don't want people to be able to play whatever custom game they want to but only think that they can. I feel like we're all trapped in the matrix and all these updates are like the sentinals trying to stop us from seeing how we're being used as batteries! hehe!

I'm just going to put this out there. Take it however you want to, but I think the sudden emergence of viruses in map codes and then blizzard's world editor changing solution seem more like a planned sequence of events for them to yet again re-popularize dota to insanely retarded levels and hinder more original and/or evolutionary advanced maps. It's just a theory. But it reminds me of the same thing the united states is doing with its war on the boogy men they are now calling "terrorists." and the same thing norton anti-virus does. All these viruses are only there because some one purposefully made it possible and let the secret out of the bag. I don't know. it seems to make perfect logical sense but then again who really knows?

all i know is that blizzard is extremely dumbed down and i just wish they'd stop it becasue it's really not cool.

I absolutely love the SC universe and really want SC2 NOW but personally, i'll just look for other things to occupy my time.. and when it finally comes out, hooray. At least you know it'll be pretty good.

I wonder if diablo 3 will be delayed to when we're all old. Unless you're already old in which case you'll be dead when diablo 3 comes out
