Okay, recently as I understand it the food cost of some creeps was increased for balance reasons. However, I believe that there has been an unintended consequence that creeps fill up a player's 40 food too fast. For example, you used to be able to have 2 spawning factories and a troop command without using up your 40 food or 3 spawning factories (if the factories were placed right). Now you can barely manage 1 spawning factory and 1 advanced troop command and often with just 2 spawning factories and no troop command you will reach the 40 cap. I think that the food limit should be adjusted to take into account the balancing effect of the increase food cost of some creeps.
- One possibility would be to increase the food limit to say 50 and increase the tinker tower food cost to 10.
- I don't think that there should be a food cost associated with mortars spawned from artillery packs of advanced troop commands, and if mortars do have food then the mortars should spawn before the troop command units (this is annoying because if you have an advanced troop command and are next to a tower with say 36 food, you will be unable to spawn mortars).
- I think the food cap should be dependant on the number of players remaining, so that it is possible for a team with few remaining players can get 3 factories (ex. a team of 5 players could have 40 food each where as a team of 1 player could have 80 food).
- Another possibility would be to make it so that the troops from spawning factories don't cost food but cannot be manually controlled by players (where as troops from troop command do).
