One reason I like Psycho Magic > Laser is because Heavy Tank armor can repel a larger percentage of the Laser dmg since it is low cooldown with low dmg. Since I figured this out I simply go for Psycho Magic instead if I'm looking for a moderately priced ranged weapon.

I have no objection to the Gattling Gun as proposed, as long as it's cost per unit damage follows the same formula as all the other 950 range weapons.
