No i dont think that. I dont think they were trying to hurt screw over or piss anyone off. What i do think is that they hated the mode, and hated the mode more and more as its popularity grew. I think that hate grew to the point where they stopped caring about other people and their hate for HB soon carried over to the players who played HB. Its a vicious cycle and it culminated in the removal of HB.
Thats what i think. The evidence is all the there. You can make up your own minds about what happened.
