Pooling is nothing short of cheating and I think it is unneccessary. I played a game recently against some poolers. One guy started with a medium laser and an air ship on 10k. It made the game a wee bit more challenging, though eventually myself and another skilled player worked the poolers over. Yeah, it is possible to beat them but it's certainly an unfair advantage for the poolers which I personally feel is lame.
