Maybe we need to define a lower bound for the avg(apm).
EDIT: I've watched the replay and nostralis and 1937 flamed and insulted hasmat excessively. Russ_Meyer tried to kick him too but his flaming was "moderate".
hasmat really isn't a good player but insulting him for his poor play is no acceptable behaviour.
So i support to have nostralis and 1937 banned for one week for massive (unneccesary) flaming.
If a player is bad you can try to improve his skill by giving him suggestions or even ask him to leave, but you don't have the right to call someone "asshole", "fucking noob", "faggot"... just because he's a bad player.
I took a look at the apm list and it seems that the first "decent" player is at 40~45 APM. And all those players IDs ( maybe somes are the same people with more account) have a high play / leave(or kicked) ratio.
Maybe a limit on apm ont the last 20 games could be made like the % stay ratio. less than 40 = go to qualify to improve your finger strength (or drink coffee, stop smoking while playing..)!
As for the game where the ban was refused and 3 people got banned for insults :
I rewatched this game and indeed Hasmat seems to play. But no teamplay, no move to cover or to get involved in the fight : I feel he was only creeping + he used his heal when full HP and no ennemies in sight. At 20 or 25 someone asked him to buy tanks cause he was getting low on HP -> he bought long range, think he change iron to steel hull, 10 minutes later he bought troops -> then go to lane buying more siege pack and troops pack. Team told him later to buy tanks -> go to base sell all items except troops and buy troop command center... no ups for now then wasted his gold on factory when we were close to being siege. AND most important he summoned bomb close to our base , I think he was aiming for red inf but he got our 2 towers!! I think on the moment I didnot understand this move and thought he was bombing our base ( I was wrong it seems but that is one of the reason I asked ban). In all the game He NEVER attacked with team.
I thought maybe he doesnot understand english but he speak once to say "bad game for me".
Maybe he got only one arm, maybe he s sick... I dont know but after 80 League Games You cant play with someone doing solo play wasting team gold on useless stuff and dont listenning when someone told you to buy new tank ( especially when you know how to sell your items to buy troop command center).
As for the insults, Yes there was some abuse from team but In a lot of my games I have seen worse and You got to understand then when you are expecting that your teamate cover when you retreat and he does not, plsu he doesnt listen to the advice to buy new tank (to tank some dammages and buy time on CP conquer) It is very annoying. So I can understand when teammates got angry like that, I also understand the reason why you banned them. I just feels it s hard to punish them and not hasmat.
Seeing that hasmat has now over 100 penalties and have to go back to qualify makes me think it is not unnecesary to improve the selection on APM.
And I dont know If admins have discussed on the matter of APM and denial of play but If You can confirm that this type of game play (hasmat) dont get banned, maybe I will spare in the future some unasked bans on 3 players, leaving the penalties do his job = kicking this non playing style out of ranked games.
