Hello,
I don't think the changes are necessary, yet they could be nice. I totally agree with your idea, Exodus. It would be really interesting to have a beta with air ship skills reworked in this way.
I agree the tank is balanced, but it doesn't have much to do with teamplay and is overused (people stick to the free speed boost).
Overall, a great idea with the lowering of the speed and strenghtening the drones.
