New PC? Which hardware?

sure? i know that geforce optimizes their cards more for benchmarks, have drivers which take all of the performance out of the card, while ATI is safer, has less crashs, a better render-quality and the performance improves with each driver... after a driver update for my ATI 9200se i could enable the particle system in nfsu1 without more lagg than before.. that was quite much for that graphics card
i dont trust those benchmarks too much...
