One thing that I do as a trader is I take the tool tip guy there and get the tinker and stick a troop module in the center tower to give a slight edge to my team if they are pushed that far back. Other than that I typically trade to 150 wood then trade 3 factories at that point I have 7k. You can set down 2 factories and push with the rest of your team and drop the 3rd strategically behind them. My choices on what to flip to are typically: Guard (as long as they dont have an exploder), Ghost (if a guard is present), or load up on explosives with my zep... you have to cloak or barrier in but you cant tele into their base anyways.
Other than that the 5k mine is great for griefing opposing traders... it's a one hit kill that never changes (the first mine can wear out it's usefulness if troop weapons arent upgraded fast enough) and many times the trader is looking for mines so they get sniped by a teammate.
