hb is unbalanced rename something else or have it brackets saying this mode is unbalanced seriously pisses me off when people think hb is pro mode

Main reason hb is imba is that everyone gets random amont of gold at the start, from 1k to 5k, also only green can buy titan its just not fair to everybody.

I think normal should be changed to "Mode that ends the same but takes 3x longer''. :o

HB is only evidence that the current mode is just broken.

The way income is gained is faster but you still get the

I'm going to assume that this was an attempt to "balance"
the mode, which is a contradiction of a sort.

HB is a faster, and funner mode to play. It actually lets
you "lane" for items more effectively than normal mode
because certain barriers of gold are gotten to faster, unlike
normal mode where everyone buys their gold hull at 10 mins
or whatever.

The other issue is with weapon scale. If there are quitters in
a game an it is HB, the person that goes 80-20 can farm up
a massing amount of gold BUT can't go beyond 5 carrion swarm
cannons (there's your damage cap) and is just left to lose the game
because there isn't anything better! Power pack is a great example of
where HP items taper off. You can't really get anything more, you have
to get hunter or something better than that to actually play seriously
later on. In all seriousness there really should be a 50,000 lazer and a
100,000 weapon of a sort to keep the game interesting, maybe with
a few more "Hull" kind of items or combinations.

There is no balance. You get a proportion of the gold the creeps earned in the last 5 minutes. As in hb the players got bretter weapons the creeps will earn less gold and that's why you get less gold every 5 mins.

...unlike normal mode where everyone buys their gold hull at 10 mins or whatever.

In a pro game you will rarely see someone buy a gold hull after 10 mins.

In all seriousness there really should be a 50,000 lazer and a 100,000 weapon of a sort to keep the game interesting, maybe with a few more "Hull" kind of items or combinations.

In a normal game such a weapon would never be bought - so why add it?

I like normal a lot but i ask this question, are you making? A game to be fair, balanced and all around a even game, or are you making a game that is fun and that lots of people will play?

Just because hb is imba does not make it ''bad'' it only makes it different, and in the end people play what they like, if that means more people play 5k hb more then normal then what are you going to do tell them they cant play a game mode they like?

i dont know what is played more hb or normal but its the people that play the game and if more people like hb then why change it or remove it??

In my opinion HB only shows us the problems BT has in a clear way. HB does not change a lot, it only makes all imbalances have a greater effect. You should better try to remove those imbalances in HB by changing something in the normal mode (and HB), because HB-problems are probably also problems in normal modes, they just do not seem that important because you dont see the effect that fast.

Do you think only hb is fun because we call it a fun mode? On Northrend there are many games based on 3k and no hb and i think the ppl play because it is fun. And if somebody wants to play another mode he can do that. The only point is other modes may not be as balanced as normal mode is.

I also want normal to be the balanced, fair and standard game mode for bt, but that being said i hear a lot of people talk about removing or changing hb because its not balanced (Bennie.fm) :wink:.

I play mostly 5k hb anymore, you may ask why do i? Well for starters i play two to three times better on normal, i win about 80% of all normal games, but i still play hb and the reason for that its because its so much fun, i really dont care if it is imba i wanna have fun, i wanna play with friends.

To me the outcome is the same with normal and hb both fun but normal lasts longer, and i know northrend has the most normal hosted games but you will be hard pressed to find one normal game on west or east servers.

People play what that want, thats it, imba or not most dont care, they are out to have fun, a good time, most think normal is to slow of a game mode you think normal is the best mode but not everyone shares every other persons veiws.

Once an item like this is introduced -- the hunter tank gets nerfed and the hunter tank
is the cornerstone of nearly every single game for at least 1 cheap loser who doesn't know
any other way to get kills or win games.

I am against normal cause it is boring. In toaf clan games, 80% games took 2hr or more. In pub games, it is too easy to win cause the only thing u need to do is to waste the first 20mins and save a big tank. and u gonna waste another 30min to save 1 or 2 lasers. I was even afraid of playing normal.
