[8.67d] ai not using hunter main gun ability correctly

i was just playing 1v1 vs an easy AI and it eventually purchased a hunter tank. and then at what seemed to be random times it would fire the main gun at zero range, "at its feet". here is the replay if it uploads correctly

The AI is far from being perfect. At the moment there is no code that orders the AI to use it's skills in a fight, besides the one to finish enemies. Other than that, the bots are completly relying on the build-in AI from Warcraft. The Wc3-AI also uses skills on it's own, but since it doesn't know the actual way of how the custom abilities work, it can't use them properly. That's the reason why the AI doesn't use most of the abilities of certain tanks or uses some in an unefficant way.

So unless the code is further developed to also include a certain way for every tank to use his skills, it will stay this way. So it's not a bug, but rather a lack of a certain feature.
