New triggers coming soon (BlizzCon)

Hey all, apparently there are some new triggers making their way to the Galaxy Editor.

Check this out @ 1:30, mouse tracked unit responses, might have some use for a special ability. Also gogo rainbow tank and seeking missiles.

Okay. Blizzard DOTA. That's some competition. I much prefer Battle Tanks, but that DOTA game is really raising the bar in terms of quality. Having a UI like that to choose tanks would rock pretty hard.

Also, Blizzard is creating WCIII assets for SC2 in general (not just for DOTA) which means some of the old tanks can make their way back in. I'd like that. I enjoy the tech hodgepodge in BTanks.

As far as mouse tracking. I already want an ability that gives you a 5 second laser blast that follows your mouse pointer. Or, how about all tanks on a team combine (like tera tron!) for a short time and each player's mouse controls a different gun that can focus. lol. It could be a late game base buster or something, maybe each tank has to buy into a connection to make it work one tank initiates a spot on the ground and all have to get inside and then <insert patented transformer sound effect here> BEEG ROBOT. :mrgreen: Of course it would be vulnerable because it wouldn't move fast (if at all) and all the tanks are in one place.

Cool stuff that should lend plenty of room to grow to the initial btanks for sc2.
