Battle Tanks MG v10.4 (NEW - Now works on patch 1.24e)

Hi All,

For oh sooo long Battle Tanks MG was discontinued at version 10.3b and after WC3 patch 1.21 it no longer worked.

So here it is, Battle Tanks MG v10.4 which works on the latest patch.

ENJOY...And feel free to let me know if you find any bugs!

but honestly.. it sucks^^

some great ideas and nice details but in overall its not a good mod.. sry.
nice work anyway.

uhm.. little question.. where do i get scrap to up some weaps? ^^

You can get scraps from enemy tank kills, or from the shops located in the northwest/southeast areas of the map.

Thanks Red0x... If the guys don't want my help with Battle Tanks for SC2, then I will be starting my own Battle Tanks MG for SC2.

LOL, we'll see!

I'd already started a few months ago, but stopped after Exodus needed help but never got back to me, so i've pick it up again.

Here is the current progress;

- Terrain (100%)
- Tanks (12%) - 2 of 18 done
- Control Points (100%)
- Creeps (80%)
- Mini-Quests (20%)
- UI (10%)
- AI (0%) - might not do this
- Weapons (12%) - 12 of ~100 done
- Buildings (20%)
- Abilities (15%)

If anyone has an suggestions on possible features, let me know or PM me!

Well unless he has less than 2 hours freetime every week to work on the map, so he will probably finish it before Paladon is able to release a finished version, which also have a completed terrain and weapon system, and that's mostly it afaik. But some people here is occupied with work, family and/or privatelife so they do also have a busy life.

Yeah, exactly TKF. Life does get in the way!

I'm only working on it about 2 hours each night (Monday to Friday), otherwise the wife gets cranky because im in front of the PC all night after i get home from work. Don't work on it on the weekend, got other stuff to do.

But yeah, i'm trying to make SC2 Battle Tanks MG its own map, along with a mix of AoS, TD and Hero Defense style. Yeah, you heard correctly, TD Style along with AoS and Hero Defense. Lets hope they work well together!

Once its in some sort of playable level (Which I think will be quite soon), i'll be happy to release a btanks.de closed beta!

- Terrain (100%)
- Tanks (67%) - 4 of 6 (6 for now, 12 in future)
- Control Points (100%)
- Creeps (100%)
- Mini-Quests (0%) (Removed so Closed BETA release can be sooner)
- UI (10%) (Needs work!)
- AI (0%) - (No AI for closed BETA)
- Weapons (12%) - 12 of 20 (Will expand weapons in future)
- Buildings (0%) (Had to start from scratch)
- Abilities (15%) (Only 1 per Tank for closed BETA)

I see weapons but I don't see any "Items" such as hull/tech mech/repair kit etc.

Another Update;

- 12 Player support (6v6)
- Terrain (100%) - Might change it in future, not too happy with it. (Someone want to help?)
- Tanks (67%) - 4 of 6 (6 for now, 12 in future)
- Control Points (100%)
- Creeps (100%)
- Mini-Quests (15%)
- UI (30%) (Needs work!)
- Weapons (75%) - 15 of 20 (Will expand weapons in future)
- Buildings (15%)
- Abilities (30%) (Only 1 per Tank for closed BETA)
- Items (40%) - 4 of 10 done (Basics like Hull, Shields, Speed are done)

Issues:
- Target priority of weapons aren't working for some reason, all weapons keep attacking the same unit until it's either out of range or dead.
- For some reason, the creeps on the Right side are stronger. After about 5 mins of them fighting it out alone, they enter the right sides base.
- Teleport to control points doesn't always work.
- Kill credits aren't working 100%.
- Hero leveling is broken, don't know the reason.
