This forum gonna change, therefore we made a test conversion which is available at http://btanks.net/mybb/ /(you don't need to bookmark that)
We would like to know what errors may occured due conversionen and try to fix them.
Things we already know of: - no avatars (trying to fix that)
- custom fields like battle.net nicks
- replayes are deleted on purpose, so those attachments won't work

This forum has changed
It's not done yet, i may change some things, rearrange some boards, etc.
Avatars has not been transfered and you may need to setup your timezone at
http://btanks.net/forum/usercp.php?action=options
Also your battle.net nicks haven't been converted.

For me it's not slower and also the search function is fast.
And which functionality is missing? We changed because some (important) functionality was missung in the old one.

New forum is good, except it's hard to get used to this forum skin.
Also I can only pick one skin it seems.
But the best thing is that I'm free

It is a bit slower than in the past (and I don't like the 30sec between each msg..)
I am so good that I don't even need to type -rc because I never die !

It seems like the transfer caused the links to not work or rarely link to a totally different post since new id numbers is on every posts the links are invalid.
This is an unfortunate side effect of the transfer. Everyone has to edit their links to be fixed which is linked to any posts in this forum.

That's true, but we couldn't do anything about it. If you find any dead links in important topics, report them to us, so we can fix them.
This post has been brought to you by Sand - it's everywhere, get used to it.

3secs to get to a newest post..
same time if u want back..
more than 5 secs to get back to main side...
that's annoying -.-

Neither does it feel slower to nor can i messure it. On the contrary it even loads faster:
mybb (new forum) |
24 requests |
6.95KB transferred |
1.23s (onload: 1.24s, DOMContentLoaded: 916ms) |
phpbb3 (old forum) |
50 requests |
75.46KB transferred |
2.37s (onload: 2.38s, DOMContentLoaded: 1.70s) |
messured with google chromes developer tools.
Those are the worst loading values i've got out of ten reloads with both forums. Taking the whole timelines, which include rendering and scripting (js) our phpbb3 performs even worse.
But there might be times the server/network/whatever might be slow but that has nothing to do with the forum software itself.

I like the new software, but there are details I would like to see changed/improved:
-The skin of the old forum was really much better
-The login field at the top does not support my browsers password-saving feature. Is there a dedicated login page I can bookmark?
-Can you set the redirection delay to zero? The old forum has had the same issue. I don't need a separate page telling me "you logged in successfully, click here to continue"

http://btanks.net/forum/member.php?action=login should do the job

There is an options at your http://btanks.net/forum/usercp.php for those redirect pages:
