Repair Robots

Many changes are good, but I dislike the repair robots buff.I don't mind it cost 1500/3000 but it retains same repair rate as when it did cost 2k/4k. It becomes a must have item which also makes packs better.

Also it would be nice to make teleporter+turbo speed+radar+repair to ult pack. It does now cost 1600, it cost 600 only to make the speed pack first.


Steel hull has more use now as more recipes has been added. A good idea would be making a 2nd alternative recipe containing gold hull. Maybe speed pack + gold hull or a different setup.

I don't think repair robot is now a must have, i think that the way it costs now only 1.5k gold is a good change. 2k was too much and only few people used it because of this price (or just buy it to make packs).

I don't think tech mech is too much powerfull now. Sure it is stronger at late game but at late game is it also free gold, easy to kill.

I would actually like to retract my previous statement here. After playing this ver for awhile, I actually feel repair robots have come to be a bit overused. I think a good solution would be to keep the initial cost at 1500 gold but make the upgrade cost the original 2000 gold.

I kinda agree, it repairs almost as fast as the dps rate of long range weapon. It can be toned down a bit imo because it heals you constantly all the time and I do now prefer repair items over repair kits.

Well repairing is +75 for each upgrades, then it would be bettre to make item cost and upgrade with the same price, 1750 instead of 1500-2000.

The repair is fine how it is!

Its just different and requires some getting used to.

This game is becoming COUNTER CRAZY and you have got to be careful how you spend your money.

If some1 buys repair bots THEN DONT BUY LONG RANGE

People complain WAY to much. every time some1 counters your build you cant expect EXODUS TO GO NERF SOMETHING!!!!

The point is that repair is now overused. And a lr player start to play lr at 0 min of the game when guys who get repair got it at 10' in general. Then your "then don't buy long range" is kinda useless...

That same argument can be made about every item.

Theres counters to everything.

It's not hard for a player to start long range then buy a different type of weapon.

MANY players hate long range, mainly because it was a very cheap tactic which made for boring game play.

It seems to me that the repair bots promote action and fun game play!

I couldn't be happier the long range noobs had their over powered weapon nerfed

Maybe making them able to hit buildings and making the repair robots cheap at the same time was a heavy blow to LR and just one at a time wouldn't hurt so much but I do know that alot of player are glad to see that noob tactic nerf because it is only fun for the player abusing it!

Repair robot nerf 0 long range dude, I'm playing lr for some weeks now (at the begining) but I can kill any mid player with it, repair or not, little tank or tier 2 tank without problem. And robot can be overused by scout lr at lane which can make long range even more boring to play against. And if robots are overused, it's not at all because of long range, most of lane players get repair robots even when they don't fight lr...

Yes its available for every1 to buy, fits well with just about any build and promotes action!

It rewards the aggressive players and makes for a much funner game.

Not to mention late game its nice to have for mass converter.

I respect your opinion

in my oppinion its good how it is, ofc its overused now but does it because of the 500g/1000g less money i dont think so, i think many would use it for 2000g too now, because much people see its a useful item to push, for information i used it for a while time before its got cheaper too
on the other side what was before it goes cheaper most players overused repair kit now u can decide what is better for ur build (or buy both) but most not see this at the moment

not sure if these are troll comments or not.........lol anyhow simple suggestion i think 1500 is to cheap i know but 1750 is surely worth a try 250 per upgrade is surely not much but it might make people think twice about the item and when to purchase it my opinion is just based on balance on what it provides etc . just a comment team work can really screw any benefit repair bots provide.

i dont like it now. Really everybody buy Repair Robots. I like it how it was before the update.

My suggestion:

Dissable the repair function for 4-5 seconds after taken damage.

While I think repair robots may be a little on the cheap side now, changing them back to their original cost would be too drastic. Bennie said that teamwork can counteract the repair robot benefits, which is true. But the main problem is on the side lane where the game is fought mostly 1v1, repair robots seem to be a pretty core item on almost every single tank now there. There is an aspect of players "discovering" repair robots now, so maybe it won't be so disregarded in the future. But a cost change to (1500/2000) or (1750/1750) seems appropriate to me.

The original suggestion was in fact to benefit players fighting against long range without long range themselves. However strategic points have been buffed since then which is a very good solution, having cheap repair robots as well I feel is overkill. The reason, I like my 1500/2000 suggestion is that it keeps the ability to get an early counter to longrange cheaply, while at the same time losing some of it's long term effectiveness.

i play airship alot not much else i can play (delay) but i will tell you this playing lane repair bot sure its very helpful but at some point you sacrifice hp......for repair bots if you play a good heavy or shredder or thunder the repair can be negated,One other thing 4.4k hp vs heavy .ulti+heavy usally will clear creeps and take half your hp away with you even the chance to regen easily.

1750 cost sounds like a good suggestion, but that will change recipe costs.

What if you change repair rate from 75 to 60 while it cost 1500. Then it will be approximately the same rate as when it did cost 2k.
