I played a rush game. The enemy force did upgrade like hell. Also every tank did buy a troop command eventually. Also they had 2 factories eventually. When the tech level is almost at 30 at both, while ours is quite low, the effect of the enemy troops commands and player creeps is extremely deadly and effective. The deadliness of the troops are far more worth than the value of the troop command especially combined with high attack and defence level. I have played many games where troops is the major weapon.
The troop command gets stronger every 5 minute and every upgrade, while the weapons still do the same damage. Therefore I will suggest a tax system which at every 5 min, if the player owns a troop command, he will lose 100 gold as penalty for the troops the troop command spawns gets stronger. For each single upgrade performed by a player, each player on his team will lose 50 gold for each troop command and factory he own. So if you have 2 factories and a troop command, you will pay 300 gold in tax for each 5 min during force upgrade. 150 gold if a single upgrade is performed by a teammate. That is because the creeps get stronger, so should the value of TC and factory to increase in value as the creeps gets stronger.
Each Troop Command (2500) and Factory (3300) cost 50 gold each in maintenance per tech level upgrade for the owning player.
Does this sounds good? Or...?
