switch team command

Would it be a nice idea to make a -switch command so that you can switch teams when they are extremely unbalanced? I know that the game 'anime wars' has such a function and it is used when there are many leavers in 1 team. Just an idea, but if its easy to implement, it might be worth testing?

And what exactly would that command do?

That you switch teams/force. Ie. you play light force, dark force has 2 leavers, then you type: -switch so you are in dark force and it is 4v4 again.

Kinda stupid form one side and kinda smart from another. I already see people who jump between teams and bothering... May be there must be a voting for transfering player to another team. And only 1-2 transfer per game allowed at all.

This wouldn't work well combined with the fact there is a factor called leavers gold.

Yeah, i was thinking about the leavergold too.... but still, if you have a good 5ppl team playing vs a mediocre 3ppl team, you still have a big advantage although they get leaver gold. But true, that is just 1 example... But if the leaver was a total noob, sometimes you get only 100k because he switched tanks and weapons so much or bought only troops or something like that..

under the consideration of the fact, that both teams are skilled moderate, in my opinion the team without leavers is still handycapped due to the leaver in the other team.... so therefore its not necessary to implement the "-switch"-command.

I'd be against the idea because I shouldn't have to face someone with power that may be comparable to mine because I may have helped him get there. While if he were on the enemy team to start with he would just be getting smashed like everyone else usually is.

If there were no leavers gold, this could have been an interesting topic, otherwise I don't find the switch team command as a balancing and good suggestion. Even though this was quite an interesting suggestion, it seems to conflict with the current system in battle tanks.

However it has been more interesting subject if you suggested cmd that would allow a vote for a ingame rmk, where mostly everyone has to agree on it. This is only valid as long as all factories at both bases are intact (cuz of the triggers depends on them being intact)

Otherwise you have the -playerswap command, but that only allows you to switch with a fellow teammate, but unfortunately not the same as a switch team command.

That -playerswap command, is that a suggestion of yours, or is it implemented already and what does it do?

I don't know when playerswap commands was implemented, but probably somewhere after BT 7.55

You can switch tanks with one of your teammates, for example you type -playerswap 4, you request to swap tank with player number 4, but this is not an switch team command.

But there is a cheat about this. If you try to use playerswap against a better teammate while he's writing the answer to a question you ask him, then he press enter, then it's done. He got your sucky light tank while you get his good heavy tank :mrgreen: I know this is dirty xD. This is the only cheat dirty command I know of.

Then do you only swap tanks? or also items and everything? Otherwise it could maybe really be a big cheat, for example share gold is off, but there is a trader. Trader saves up, buys frost laser, swaps with other player, other player drops the weapon, swaps again , picks up the weapon and still got it for free.

I don't know if it only swaps the tanks, or gold too. I only seen other players used it sometimes, but never used it myself, so I don't know what it does.
