As you probably know of hamachi, this is a similar VPN tool. But this is the simplest VPN program you can get your hands on. Very noobfriendly and recommended. I've tested this program on supreme commander: forge alliance with some friends. You just need to open a port on your modem you are going to use when you host a server. You only need to add the nicks of the people you want in your server channel and you can join LAN games via internet.
