Mana tank

How about a tank that has a negative mana regeneration or does not regenerate mana at all.

1st skill Mana burn.
The generic nuke. Will not do as much damage as typical nukes as its the main use will be preventing enemy tanks from completing skill combos. Will do a multiple of the amount of mana burned as damage

2nd skill Mana heal/Mana shield
I was thinking either a heal or an active/toggle energy shield for the 2nd ability

3rd skill Mana absorption(passive)
When damage is taken a % of it is converted to mana. Might also want to increase damage resistance along with leveling this skill. This is this tank's bread and butter skill as it provides mana for the other skills.

Ulti Mana bomb
Converts all mana into a bomb (that is visible to all players) with a 3 second timer. Does damage based on the amount of mana used to make the bomb. Might have it require a minimum amount of mana to use.

Thoughts?

Sounds a bit out-there.
Not saying it shouldn't be done, but does seem a bit wierd

I assume this tank has 100% more mana than others. And when buys battery, will get 100% bonus. 20 instead 10. And does not regenerate mana or half of others. And cost around 6k.

Better to manipulate its mana actively:

Negative Energy: Deals x damage per seconds to target while drains 10 mana/sec from owner and 3 mana/sec from target. x= 50/level
Must have a low cooldown like 10 sec. And duration of 5 sec.

-Matter Generator (Passive): Unit regains x hp every 3.33 seconds where x= current mana + allied tanks total current mana in range of 900.

or

-Energy Shield: (15%) + (12%/level) damage taken goes to mana, (1) + (1/level) hp per mana.

Illogical with 2nd ability. It stores mana for every damage taken and consumes mana for damage taken.. Also Phoenix Fire damage cannot be detected, so a trigger cannot be done to store mana because we cannot know amount of damage taken.
Maybe:
Energy Collector: Gets mana for every dying creep in range of 1000. Similar to Ghost Tank ability. But it also gets mana for enemy creeps too and in a larger range. 1 mana per level.
Alternative:
Energy Link: casts in an area. Creeps in area are linked to this tank. When they die, Mana Tank gets mana. 3 per creep per level.

-Tesla Rod: Places a rod at target point. Rod deals 2x damage per seconds to all enemy tanks in range of 1000, where x= current mana of that tank. For every damage dealt by rod, it stores 0.66 energy in rod.
After 5 seconds rod explodes and deals x damage to all tanks in range of 800 where x= total energy stored in Rod.
If owner of rod dies, rod instantly explodes.
(Alternative) Places a rod at target point. Rod consumes all mana of enemy tanks in range of 1000 and deals x damage to enemy tanks in range of 1000, where x= total consumed mana. Hits for 3 seconds.
As an ultimate they get 25% damage per level.
