After going through the forums and looking at all of the topics, i can see there is a lot of threads talking about "noobs" in league, so i got to thinking about the whole "HB" debate and how most if not all anti HB players thought a majority or HB players are noobs, and how removing HB will make better games with better players (something i have yet to see)
At this point i have given up on wc3 BT, its slow, boring, full of bad players and lag omg lag..... So i am waiting on sc2 BT that i hope will be the wc3 BT of old that was fun and something we as players play for fun, yes fun, not some retarded ELO points that so many players are getting their panties in a bunch over, at one point no game was better then BT, not DOTA not Bships nothing, but after months and months of nothing added to modes or items/tanks it have become to bland.
BTW i think sc2 BT will be awesome because the great Exo is working on it, maybe get Bob too?

Tom, in all seriousness, you should try to get the more senior and experienced players to post here (since you have a history of playing with them and know them better than me). I think a significant factor in why the map has consistently gotten worse is that good players don't post. When all you have are noobs like evasu and tkf dictating what should happen, the map is bound to become awful.

Didn't remember I played with tkf before, but esvau is not noob. Even if they are, they work and contribute a lot for the map. But what you are doing is nothing but complaining. For the btanks sake, be constructive. Provide some ideas that are reasonable and workable. It might be helpful for the bt sc2 version.
Talking about noobs, I don't know how you define a noob. If there is a standard, i think the league beta status now is the best one. Sadly i don't really see the names who advocate HB in the first page. Ok, you don't like the mode now, and the league bot is laggy. Then try set up a bot in US with 8.65 HB mode and HB league webpage, think surely i'd go there. Please really do something more than just bla ...

I have to say i have played with TKF and he is a HUGE noob for making one of the most imba and fun bt mods ever, really when did bt stop being about fun? <soon as Exo stopped making it...
And before anyone goes all "Normal league mode is fun" how many BT games do you see hosted that are not league or bug bot, there just are not even half as many as a year ago, about 3 months after hb removal nobody outside of die hard this bt is there life blood fans hosted it.
I remember the topic about hb and Paladon said something like "i will not remove hb but you will not be able to play it in league" then after that post about 2 weeks later there is a thread that says "Why we are removing HB" there was no debate just we are removing it, and after that like 20 or 30 people got a Btanks forum account begging to not remove it but the dev team only would hear what a few friends thought about it...
In the end the point why they removed HB was do to it's imbalance, because they we're making the new league and didn't want it to be a choice in the mode selection, but in the end they use bots that pick the mode so there was no need to remove HB, it was a free choice by the wc3 players it was not hurting anyone it would have been impossible for any player to pick hb in league games. It was removed because a few in this forum hated hb and had the ear of the modders enough to make their minds for them.
And for the whole "For the btanks sake, be constructive. Provide some ideas that are reasonable and workable" i have given and many other people i know have given great ideas about many different things to help make bt a better game but most go to file 13 without much thought...

One comment exodus and bob did a wonderful job of changing to the bt make we like.However undoing paladons work and velo is sad they have done a lot to make the progress map.However bt is quite balanced now and after this kicking tool for league is solved it will be a great map (In every league every map there are floors and unhappy people it will happen i know what you getting at tom you can still host the old maps i think this abit old now and long over due getting a poll and different voices may help your efforts but i doubt it will change

More than anything, they need to re-enable votekick until they develop their new solution. Almost EVERY god damn fucking game I play is ruined by someone who should never have been let out of qualify.
I'm extremely tempted to never play this god awful piece of shit map again.

2nd you have no respect for anyone's efforts to try improve this map
3rd if this map is shit the fuck of if u complain so much about the qualify games towards idiots coming from qualify come clan bug northrend and play a priv and lets how you feel.(PLZ DONT PWN US 2)

It's kind of hard to pwn ppl on a forum speaking broken english...
I'll give the map creators/devs credit for getting league beta off the ground and keeping bug fixes up, but most all other changes they've made have consistently made the map and in game experience worse. From removing 5K HB to removing votekick, and constantly reducing the choices players have during play modes (ie banning exploder), all the fun and variability is slowly being taken out of the game. I mean, new guns and tanks haven't been added to this map in like 7 years.
It's nice that there are dedicated bots hosting btanks, but it also has the side effect of making it nearly impossible to host your own game of btanks. If i want to play 5K HB or a fun game with exploder, no1 joins my game b/c they queue for league beta.

Again, noone forces you to play the league.
In usual games, there's the old kick, there're modes with raised bounty (and more income!) and much more. Especially with the current versions.

It is sounds to me: Few people like to play 5K HB, so they don't join your game. Instead, they join league beta because they love play there.

As paladon said, 5K HB is not totally gone. If you play Beginner Mode, the game is also fast, like a light version of HB.
-Kick is not removed, only disabled in league mode. So host your Beginner Mode you get everything, -kick and High bounty.
If no one join the game you hosted, that's not our fault. Try to find the right person to blame plz.

Honestly the community never died faster since the demolition of HB.
Not that I want to make an example of anyone here but I feel it is necessary to prove a point. One of the complaints was that players liked HB and claimed it was the pro mode and challanged people in clan channels harassing them while refusing to play the normal mode. This was a large factor in the removal of HB altogether.
Now that HB is gone this does not happen and neither do frequent visitors to any btanks clan channel at that.
Sure you can have league bots host normal mode. But disabling players from hosting the mode that everyone plays makes completely no sense for the community as a whole. DOTA's elitist ranks of players and wanna-be pros all hated the "easy mode" which basically is the equivalent to your "HB". -EM dota was not reversed, it was renamed and sligthly tweaked here and there having to do with tower strength all recorded in the change logs should you care to draw any stupick-fuck analogies which don't equate. I would fear the day -EM DOTA was ever removed from the game itself. IT WAS AN OPTION! You didn't have to choose it but the vast majority did. Many complained that not enough users played the regular mode -- much the same here but you guys had the nerve to completely obliterate what used to be HB in order to be some self-serving elitist group which has done exactly that... cut the majority of you players from your interest group which then makes your game exactly that -> uninteresting.
Unfortunately only one person cares to look back and see how major a mistake you have made. But noone in the elitist administration here is going to ever admit or change that. Bringing back HB will never happen so maybe someone on the SC2 side will unfuck it up for the rest of us.

Also, I have seen a 5k HB bot in The benet last days. Host Version 8,65 or something like that.
Can also somebody of the mods please close EVERY FUCKING thread with the topic "HB"? It won't come back and thats it.
