Old Man need Help editing Map

Hi,

im playing BTanks since 2008. My friends and I meet once a year and play BTanks for 2 days.

Unfortunately we are always 12-14 people and cant have fun together.

Since Warcraft 3 Reforged, it is possible to create up to 24 player maps.

I tried to expand the open source BTanks map to 14 players, but I have to say that I am an absolute newbie and have no idea what to do.

Please help me adapt the map to 14 players so that we old men can play BTank battles together from this year on.

Warcraft 3 version too old?

So I used to play a lot of btanks when I was younger and I want to get back in business.
I've got warcraft 3 frozen throne v 1.18, downloaded the btanks map and copied it into the "maps" folder in the warcraft 3 folder.
But when I try to start it, the game doesnt start, instead it just returns to the mod selection. I cant even choose teams because the whole space where the teams should be shown is just empty.

I dont know if there are any conditions I need in order to play the game, if so please reply.

It seems the email server for the site is down, I can't activate my account nor 'reset password' for older accounts. Who can help with this?

Hey Guys,

your map is awesome. Back in my days of WcIII I played quite a lot BTanks-games. Despite the fact i got run over most of the times and mostly had no chance against more experienced players I always had a lot of fun.

With realease of Dota 2 (Dota is a MOBA Game-Mod, amusingly with some similarities to BTanks, and had its origins as custom map in WcIII) my time spent on Battle.net almost decreased to zero. Now with the currently running beta for Dota 2 Reborn the community has the opportunity to create custom maps in that game aswell. For my part i can not tell if the map designer is as powerful as the WcIII map editor, but there are a lot of WcIII custom maps remade for Dota 2 such as Tower Defense's, Tree Tag, Enfos, Escape maps, Slide maps, Pudge Wars, Uther's Party (now Omni Party) and many more.

What I want to say is... no, what I NEED to say is: What the world needs now is a well made Battle Tanks for Dota 2!!!

Please guys, i beg you to at least take a look into it and think about if it is possible (the only difficulty I see is the missing vehicle textures in Dota 2). I am sure I'm not the only one who would love to play exciting BTank matches with the Dota 2 game engine.

But no matter if you can support my request or not, the work you have done so far is great!

I was playing Battle Tanks, game name: "BTanks League Qualify #163691" and there was a guy called SIlberhand that was constantly harassing me. On Battle.net my name is Klasus. I am new to the game and told him but he didn't take it into consideration. He tried to abuse the votekick feature several times and went afk for a long duration. It request that you ban him for this type of behavior.

What's wrong with Germans? When you took HB out of the game and fucked over an entire section of btanks players, my first thought was typical German behavior. There's something wrong with your race when you feel you can screw people over and make other people suffer because of your poor decisions. It's like you people can't help trying to hurt other people and than you get horribly fucked up for it? Who the fuck does that shit?? Do your people have some sort of mental fucking illness???? Did you even stop for a second and consider that you were upsetting and ruining other people's enjoyment? Probably not cause human beings don't mean much to Germans and it's why the world would be much better off without a lot of you. You do it to yourself. Enjoy the consequences of your choices. Human beings don't sit back and let themselves get fucked over we fight back.
