danke schon mal im voraus sajyuki ^^

- Saiyuki - 2007-05-06

cannot close this topic ^^

btw. if i m right, weather can be disabled by a trigger (not only turn off but really disabling)..

- ICE2607 - 2007-05-06

yes i have .. i already play without weather ..

- DerSatan - 2007-05-06

i havent noticed any weather effects too. if you can disable weather effects in the normal wc3 option menu this thread is really meaningless.. otherwise a proper solution would be required and supported by myself

- TKF - 2007-05-07

Only Chefatage can close the tread (whos' that?)

- Saiyuki - 2007-05-07

ur joking, right?

- WWW_Shadow - 2007-05-07

exodus nazgul and psycho dmr , you can see it if you click on "chefetage" , so you see a list of this persons

- TKF - 2007-05-07

Chefatage is german??? so it means a group or staff?

- ICE2607 - 2007-05-07

chefetage is like a chief ... something like boss suite or executive suite..
it is a staff.... u r right..

Well, it will eventually build up memory leaks cuz some have turned off the weather, while some idiots (like me) have this turned on. Sync difference (triggered weather is in effect even weather turned off in options) may appear overtime and may suspect this may cause that I lost 3 players in a liga game http://btanks.de/board/viewtopic.php?t=239 after a hour.

Well, I might be wrong, but that's my theory!

but it isnt fact, weather caused this d/c ...

nice Theory, but the funny thing is, that i had no lag 150 games before and all the games after the match your talking about, so my opinion is that the host know's he can lagg out other people...

- ICE2607 - 2007-05-08

u see ?? even sirjoghurt say it wasnt weather lagged u out .. it was the the host himself laggt purpose .... so do we need this command ?? it will only cause trouble cause when it will be like u say and i did u understand , u wanne have for all players this command... also during whole game .. u cant realize first 2 min, the host lag cause of weather .. so it will be troublesome if 1 part wanne have weather.. the other not ..

- TKF - 2007-05-08

Then my theory is wrong thenSmile

ehm why disabling weather with an option when you can do this with the waracrft options? if you turn particles i think to low then there is no rain, and if you have a slow pc, then you should of course turn your graphics options lower...

- TKF - 2007-05-24

How to I remove the weather without reducing any quality at all?

no way i think... perhaps i will add a LOCAL function to disable it... means that each player can choose it on his own

- TKF - 2007-05-24

Yes, so I don't need to reduce the particlesBig Grin
