It's planned to start the real league with the next version (8.72c), which features some more bugfixes. I also feel, that those penalty points are too harsh and that it should be easier to get rid of them again. But this is not my part, you'll have to convince eSVau and Velocity (mostly eSVau though)
I hope the penalty points system will be improved since my unstable connection tends to cut off internet randomly making a few games as a leaver. There's no chance to play 40 games in a row without getting a disconnect. The penalty system punish players and only reward player with 100% stability and not everyone has such stable connection.
Atm it seems it is not going to change.
