Re: Buff the multi kill bonus? - Doomhammer112 - 2009-06-18

Yes i have noticed that. I had 18 posts and yesterday night i posted 30 posts. I agree that i should not post with 10 words but some guys only use one word. Please check my posts - There are not only short posts. If you think I am spamming the forum please report it to a moderator. But I can't agree that i spam. Btw theres always lot of time to edit my posts. Please next time send me a private message not just make a post into a topic. Other users aren't here to read that I think...
Also I agree that my posts are the same here (these 2 posts) but i tryed to express myself better.
Sorry that I made 2 posts what could be only 1. That was my mistake.

Its about forum etiquette, not spam.

percentage based bonus would be really good. early double kills give often more money than the tanks(single tank bounty, not in total)

i'd also like to see a 'beyond-godlike' or similar for 6 or more kills in a row.
i know it's really, really, really rare, but in theory it is possible and so it is in practise, it happened only one single time to me when i played vs bots.

Well to suggest a percantage (even if it is feedback here) I think you need to have a look at the "usual" tankvalue at the time where you want to increase Bounty.

Beginning: Tanks got about 150-200Gold, but for a double kill you get +200. I think its a bit too good, but usally there are nearly no tripple kills in the beginning and not often doubles. (with no ExploderWink )

After 30min: Midgame tanks + a bit Equipment give about 350-500Gold. Some better equipped people get mor often doubles, sometimes with lowrange at CP even tripple kills. I think a double kill should not give more than +30% at that time.

After 1hour: This is the time infernals and Skyfortress can be bought just by little extra upgrades. The tank kill value is about 650-900, depending of the statistics of the players. I think the Doublekill-Bonus should at least raise up to 350 Gold.

1:30h: in "Normal" I suppose about 1000-1500Bounty --> So maybe even 500Gold for double kill

2h: 2k-3k maybe  - but I think usally games do not last 2 hours.

(Exploders, very bad or upgrading/supporting players maybe dont meet that kill bounty)

After all I think:

Beginning: -20% Big Grin
30min: +30%
1h: +75%
1:30h: +150%
2h: +300% (I am not sure if really necessary)

This numbers are just a "feeling" from me.
(even the kill value is just a feeling, so i dont want to discuss of 10 gold more or less in the beginning or 100more or lesse in the endSmile )

Lets see what my numbers are up to:

Quote:Maybe it can be with %.
Double: 25% of last killed 2 tanks bounty total
Triple: 28% of last killed 3 tanks bounty total
Multi: 31% of last killed 4 tanks bounty total
Godlike: 34% of last killed 5 tanks bounty total

Start: 200 gold bounty > 25% of doubled bouty: 200+200 = 400 , 400*25% = 100 gold, triple: 600*28%= 168 gold , seems a little small values even for first 5 min of game.
Mid: 500 gold bounty < 25% of doubled bouty: 500+500 = 1000 , 1000*25% = 250 gold, triple: 1500*28%= 420 gold, seems fair to me.
Late: 1000 gold , well double last valuesBig Grin 500 for double, 840 for triple , seems ok.
End : 1500 gold, lets add 50% to last values: 750 for double, 1260 for triple, seems ok. even a little much if you ask me.

New suggestion:
Multikill = (25*Multi) + (TB*22%) ; TB= total bounty of killed tanks, Multi = Total # of killed tanks
Added a 50 gold for double, 75 for triple and so on, and decreased % value.. This looked even much better

I do not support time factor because time is not a good value to change bounties etc. There are different factors ingame where -hb and other stuff will affect these time factors. In hb your bounty can go up for 1500 gold in 20 min or 1000 in 40 min...

Re: Buff the multi kill bonus? - Gammagulp - 2009-06-23

I think percantages are really good, too. If you got stats like 80:25 and kill 2 enemy tanks who got stats like 10:30 and 15:30 e.g. you dont get the same double kill Bonus like killing enemies which got really high tank values. It´s a good balance factor.

But I think we have to think over your numbersSmile
Lets say you manage a Godlike in Midgame --> quiet rare without exloder. With your formula:
You get 25*5 => 125Gold
+ 5X "400KillGold" X 0,22=> 440Gold (Killgold is an average suggestion for the whole enemy team, that means player1 maybe 450 , player 2 350 and so on)

== 565Gold, is quiet less for a whole multikill.

Or do you mean you add every kill. That means Doublekill 2*Kill*0,22+Multi + Tripple + ... ??? Then it could be ok for midgame Smile

Then it lookslike:
Double: 226Gold
Tripple: 320Gold
Multi: 452Gold
Godlike: 565Gold

Makes: 1563 in Total --> nearly like it is now

If all tanks give 1000Gold Bounty:

Whole Double - Godlike Bounty: 480+735+980+1225 = 3420Gold

In the beginning with 5 Tanks 200Gold Bounty:

Whole Double - Godlike Bounty: 138+207+276+345 = 966Gold

... seems fair to me Smile

Edit: If all tanks got a value of 340,9090... Gold a Godlike with that formula give exactly the same amount like now I suppose --> 1400Gold.
means less at the beginning mor after early midgame. That means after maybe 25-30min Multikills would get better like it is now and worse before.
