A net is still more usefull than these mines ^^
I suggest something more annoying as:
Mana mines: remove all mana when explode
Burst mines: all units going trought this mines get burn for 5 sec (200-400 damage per sec)

generally i dislike the ideao of making much mor emines, simply because I, exactly as bennie, dont like them.
but i like the idea of the burst mines, that would make some dmg and slow + would give somesthing else ingame
