In this way with a good support the can make a lot of money and lvl on the start. So they will be better as the others. This sounds now as a Tank special for this "taktikel" way. I am not happy about this solution. New players dont know how to work with this tank. Pros have now a good solution to be again a little bit faster better then the others. Please dont forget to think about what is with new players. Is a change or a new tank good for all or only for some pros to be again better..... Re: [New Tank] The Scout - MontyCoco - 2008-04-25 push Re: [New Tank] The Scout - kittyonmyfoot - 2008-04-30 Not to poo-poo on the parade but I think the concept itself is too close to the anti-grav tank which has a jump for mobility, an aoe stun, a banish that allows it to creep swamp an enemy, and an aoe ranged attack (which I don't find very useful). I even find the suggested model to be very similar as far as the style goes. So... if you really want the scout I'd suggest altering the Anti-grav rather than starting from scratch. I find the ranged plasma shot very limited in uses... the range and the amount of damage quickly becomes obsolete. Sentry wards would be a good replacement or a trader hunter pack burst speed would be useful and differentiate it from the air models. (Although the Jump and burst speed could easily be abused if the CDs aren't long enough). I find that negating mines or even making them hostile to both would be imbalanced since you can negate a 7500 weapon with a low level tank ability. I believe there are plenty of ways to neutralized mines of which is go the road less traveled, don't be a hero, and upgrade your tank quickly. Generally speaking the only tanks that could be 1 shotted by the demolisher's tank are the light tank and helli ... considering that they have lots of time to upgrade before they're 1 shotted and the fact that the demolisher almost costs double... I just don't see a problem. But to make it less obvious that your already manipulated rune, has been manipulated again by the enemy, both will see the special effect added to the rune. Everything thats happens after that might be kinda confusing ^^ |
