Battle Tanks 8.59 - Exodus - 2009-04-23
Hey guys,
a little attempt on balancing the latest changes.
v 8.59
- Added more weather effects to -weather (5 in total) and weather changes more often now
- The new Force upgrade system now has less influence on the number of upgrades (about 40% less)
- Reduced the time for weapon mode switching from 3 to 1.5 seconds
- Blink (Trader) is now affected by Teleport Breakers and blinking into the enemy base is not possible anymore
- Increased mana cost of Blink and Shadowwalk
- Reduced Shadowwalk duration, but also removed unit collision
- Trader now starts with 1200 HP (2100 before), but the hitpoints now increases by 5% each level (1% before)
- Trader gets 25% less XP for the trade goods, Trader also gets normal XP now in High Bounty
- Trader no longer gets bonus hitpoints from the Mine Defuse Pack
- Net Launcher can be used on air tanks and the Trader now
- Bots now wait a little longer before buying their tanks
- Fixed a visual cooldown bug of the Mine Defuse Pack
- Fixed the tank bounty, when dying while upgrading a weapon
- Fixed some Trader related tooltips
- Fixed the -mode command, not showing No Trader mode properly
- Fixed some minor bugs

i vote that the bennie cannon should be added to the map just so that bennie will shut the fuck up about it
**edit: and oh ya! i forgot to say: also, bennie's an outstanding player even if he does have a new zealand, and i think that recognizing him for that might be a nice thing. i can descimate 99.9% of all players i play and yet benne's always been the one guy who's consistantly been above me after all this time. i've not played as much with the best as him and there are some that i've never played with at all. And i know he'd be the first to say there are many better than him but from all that i've played so far he is the best overall. so if you know me and you know my skill than you should also know that on about 20 different occasions bennie's owned me 1vs1 when i'm hosting. and that's about 18 times more than anyone else ever has. i got him a few times too, but not near as much i'll admit
