The bot for the tournament BTT2012 has been setup and ready to use. Thanks for Velocity2k's help!
By default, this bot will be used to host all games for the coming tournament. (Unless both teams insist to use a different server, all games will happen on this bot.)
Why visit the BTT2012 bot?
1. To test the bot/server.
The BTT2012 bot is on the same server as the BT League bots. So normally you could expect the same connection speed as in the BT League ranked/qualify games. If you don't have big lag in the league games, there shouldn't be problems in the BTT bot. But anyway it is good to try out the BTT bot at least once before the serious games.
2. To play private games.
If there are 8 or 10 visiters at the same time, we could host and play a private game.
3. To prepare for the tournament and train the team.
The private games are more formal than league games. Here you could train your personal skills for the tournament. In the private games, if there are people from the same team, they could play together to train the teamwork.
4. Meet/talk to people.
Everyone is welcome to visit the BTT bot. No matter you are going to join the BT tournament or not. Here you can meet and talk to people. And maybe after some private games you will change your mind and even find a team with other single players. For any questions about the tournament you can also ask me directly if I am online.
Where to find the bot?
The BTT2012 bot stays in the BT League channel on Northrend.
First come to Battle.net Northrend, and the join BTL (command "/j btl"). Then you will see the bot (named BTT2012). After a game is hosted, you could join the game from any realm, not necessarily from Northrend.
Who is the admin?
For each team registered in BTT2012, the team leader (and contact person if different) is set as the admin of the bot.
LIoOoOoIL, olivercamel, Velocity2k are root_admin of the bot.
For questions about the BTT bot, you can ask me. If I am not avaliable, you can ask the other root_admins, i.e. lioooooil or velo
