Insane idea!

How about implementing a bug-tracking system instead of forum?

I really didn't considered this deeply but could you pay some attention on this?

As an example you can look an bugzilla used in Mozilla support and development.
Look Here

Bugzilla is quite a professional system but I believe it can be customized for more simple tasks(such as yours). Or even search for another more simple solution.

Why do we need all this? It's just because I believe this map development would not stay still but advance quickly as new bugs will occur more often. So This system would help to organize all those experience and prevent from duplicating bugs.

Sorry, but I always had a bit of maximalism inside...:)

hehe, i know this system and thought about using it too, but i cam to the conclusion that bugzilla is completly overpowered for us.

and i think if there is one topic for every bug only rly stupid ppl will create a second with the same bug... xD

Yes, I agree. But such systems have many options in customization and they(it) could be brought into a state of very simple and useful for you application. Actually I didn't dug it at all and I cannot tell in sure.

That is the problem. When you see(when I see) a list of topics which contain one bug per topic I have two choices to identify a bug: first is to read only topic names(which in most cases are non informative because of low users' CA qualification;-)) and the second is to open each topic and read about it. The second is boring but it's the only right choice using forum. Of course, YOU can maintain it by correcting topic names to make them look like a bug-tracking system:).

-EDIT-

As for stupid I could add here also lazy. The human laziness today usually compensates with automation provided by computers and machines in general. And in this case needed automation could be provided by bug-tracking system:)
