Following up on one of my ideas here (http://forum.btanks.net/viewtopic.php?f=...448#p24448) how about having a tank that's actually two tanks?
1st skill: Equalize damage
Equalizes the amount of hitpoints between the two tanks. The total hitpoints of both tanks will still be the same after this ability is used. This ability will level by the maximum amount of hitpoints equalized and cooldown.
2nd skill: Repulsion
Violently pushes both tanks away from each other. Units hit while tanks are being pushed apart will be dealt damage
3rd skill: Speed boost
Passively increases the tank's speed. Positioning is very important to this tank, which is why I think this skill is appropriate.
Ultimate: Slammer
Both tanks suddenly accelerate toward each other dealing significant damage (and stun?) to all units caught in between. Upon collision, both tanks will be dealt damage based on a percentage of their (maximum?)hp.
Some way we might balance this unique play style:
Killing one tank will kill both
Each tank will only have 3 item slots
Tanks can only be a maximum distance apart
The damage of the ulti might depend on the inital distance apart

The ulti could also work by only accelerating the tank that activates the ability. All units hit will get pushed along with the tank that's accelerating. Caught units could be pushed back a set distance or until the accelerating tank has reached its destination. This would make the ability work like a sort of 'hook'.
