More Recipe Suggestions
#1
I have some ideas for the troll trader. Some recipees which could make fusing items into packs more interesting. We already have weapons which is only for ground or air, so I had an idea with recipe packs which is only for air or ground tanks.

Dismantle Pack (Free)

Gives you an item which can dismantle the selected pack. Doesn't work on certain items such as advanced troop pack, strength pack etc... packs which contains parts u don't need for other packs. (Could be in some games be useful to dismantle defuse pack)

________________

Jet Pack (1000) - Armor tech 8 required
For air only

Items required: Speed pack + 1 nano robots (value: 10000)

Provides with a pack which has 200 speed bonus and gives you 150 hp regen. Instead of having teleport ability, the jet pack has a jet thruster ability allowing the air tank to fly for 2500 range in forward direction. It ignores tp breakers and can fly into enemy base. 50 seconds cooldown, 15 mana cost. When changing to ground tank this pack automatically changes into Jumper Pack.

Jumper Pack (1000) - Armor tech 8 required
For ground only

Items required: Speed pack + 1 nano robots (value: 10000)

Provides with a pack which has 150 speed bonus and gives you 200 hp regen. Instead of having teleport ability, the jumper pack gives the tank ability to jump 2200 range to selected spot. Ignoring mines during the jump and tp breakers. 50 seconds cooldown, 15 mana cost. When changing to air tank this pack automatically changes into Jet Pack.

________________

Goliath Pack (1575) - Armor tech 13 required

Items required: 1 power pack + 1 Strength pack. (value: 15750)

By fusing strength pack and power pack you get a even better pack! Adds 9000 hp + grants a 7500 hp heal on use. Cost 40 mana to use and has 50 sec cooldown.

Nuke pack (3300) - Weapon tech 23 required

Items required: 5x huge explosives. (value: 33000)

Everytime you die you cause a bomb like explosion + 2 seconds stun to units within 300 range. In this way if your exploder get fucking rich he can spend some money on something useful poof and go and pwn the enemy base. Well the problem here is that you easily can kill your teammates. And you can't just teleport into the enemy base either....

The nuke pack is dumb, since it allows an exploder to free up another 4 slots. There are already lots of things for exploders to spend their money on - like upgrades, factories tech mechs, bunkers or even bombs etc...

Except nuke pack i liked the ideas. Though they make antigravs' ability buyable, will be some kind of nerf to antigrav..

Well the Jumper/Jet Pack is kinda supposed to be an alternate idea to packs, which gives you a different and more inefficient way to teleport, but interesting. This ignores the tp breakers which gives the player a huge advantage.

But it fits badly with ultimate pack. You lose the speed bonus and kinda waste the non stacking speed bonus. But with only speed as a non stacking factor, both items can still be useful. Jet pack is especially designed to give 50 more speed to air tanks and thus gives greater speed benefit to all aircrafts. Jumper pack is your ground only alternative when changing to ground tank.

Also removing nano repair ronbots from both packs will make it available earlier and reduce it's costs to only 6k, and recipe cost to 600.

Nuke pack idea was kinda... bleh Big Grin

Me too! But it is that expensive that using the Antigrav skill should be no nerf.

Not exactly a recipe, but maybe it could be made that way:

Scatter Field (330)
items required: maybe one teleporter + one teleport breaker (value: 3300)
u would need a teleporter to remotely place a teleport breaker and to know how teleporter works and how to counter itWink

active component: places an teleport breaker (target range 1000?) (3min cooldown)
passive component: with a ready item (no cooldown) it displaces an enemy teleport to the item owner by 1000, EMPs him for 1s and triggers cooldown

So u could decide whether to place a teleport breaker or having a small protection versus a single teleport toward oneselfes. Till now the only way to counter teleporters are buying consumable teleport breaker and placing them, but it need much time and money to rebuy+replace them every 3min for an small area of protection.

TKF: u may add this to ur own list if u want to. That way it hopefully wont get overlooked and i really would like to see another (not owerpowered) teleport counterWink
