As a lot of players can see, it is more and more often to see hb game. Since this mode is unbalanced, it create a huge problem. People lack of time and then still host it. The main problem is the speed of the normal mode I think, that's why we must try to make it faster but keep it balanced.
A normal game take minimum 40 minutes. I think we should apply some solution to make it increase his speed at this time.
Here are my suggestions, please tell me what you think about:
1/ Change the time of each "round" from 5 minutes, make it 3-4 min. People who would receive money at better rate and upgrad would be less long to acquire.
2/ Giving a better avantage to the team who get more cp. People may say that then it is much more hard to come back but... it is logical.
Currently, being attacker is more a disadvantage because the game has been balanced in normal a way that even if you lose all cp, the attacker still can earn only the same amount of gold (or not that much more). I think we should give more importance to the cp. Currently, it does not really matter, less than it should.
How to give the advantage:
- impact of lost cp on respawn time
- impact on gold increased
3/ Making the teleportation possible inside base.
Even if it is annoying against exploder, defender should be able to use breaker. I don't remember when the anti teleport has been done butI think that the breaker did not exist at this time.
4/ After 25-30 min of the game, each cp out of the base is able to spawn one mortar. It would make the game more speedy.
5/ Make the bomb able to destroy the mines, it would help against mass mining in the base. People may say it is much more interesting than defuser but the bomb cost much more. Give another ability to the defuser, make it able to stun for one sec the area you aim. It would really make it more useful.
6/ Make cp buyable only in middle shop. It would increase a lot the importance of this shop.
(without having to wait one hour of the game when people want acquire big weapon)
7/ Call the hb mode - noob mode :p

i don't understand suggestion 6) cp=control point not? how can you buy a cp?? do you mean factories?
to 2) increase the advantage for controlling team, but don't increase the respawn time.

1. Maybe not making the whole round 3-4 min but making the more cp's advantage gold got in every 2.5 min, and also destroed factries advantage gold too... When you destroy enemy base, you dont get creep golds and must wait 5 min for gold...
2. I dont know how much gold is given by extra cp's. So I cant comment on this.
3. NO. It is a big feature that protects you from imba things. You can tp directly to enemy basecorner and destroy lasers and factory too easily from there. And enemy maynot even notice that. Same as tp>invis>bomb.. And exploders will be too advantageous. When I get exploder in fun games, in 20 min we go to enemy base and after that I just sit and wait there... Otherwise it is too bad for defenders..

7. It is already a noob mode.  Pros play it for fun... And I can say that there are many noobs are pro in this mode.

Oh please don't make make normal mode faster. It's fine, and we don't need another high bounty mode.
As for high bounty games being quicker than short bounty games, I completely disagree. Actually, usually my high bounty games last longer than my normal games. My hb games generally last for like 50 minutes or more while my normal games last for 30 minutes or more. Why is this? Well in high bounty, you will quickly outgrow early-game and mid-game items (such as orbital command, seige pack, etc.) and eventually after an hour or so, you will all have titans with frost lasers and after that noone can improve themselves anymore (so often you will quickly reach some sort of a stalemate). You cant really use midgame strategies as effectively, and are all giant robots with huge dps there are less strategies to use. In normal mode I can get a heavy tank, a seige pack and an orbital command and their buildings die pretty fast, especially as they wont have a bazillion dps to blow me apart when I get near a base. Furthermore, in normal mode, you can actually use factories to heal as the enemy wont all teleport instantly to it and blow it up in 2 seconds. Also, creeps are stronger relative to tanks in normal mode (as tanks are weaker), which gives a much bigger advantage to the attacker when sieging. In hb there are much less viable tactics; tinkering or mining isn't worth it, because there isn't enough time to build towers or create mines, so in hb I always go a scout with 1 or 2 bombard cannons to start to get fed.
Anyway, I voted #7, because it is a noob mode and I'm so sick of it being the only thing hosted.

every 5 minutes, your team gets a certain percentage of the bounty of units that your force killed during the last five minutes, plus a compensation if you control more CP`s and/or destroyed force factories in the enemies' base.
that means, you wouldnt get more money, but the armor upgrades will increase at a faster pace (which have a greater impact on the game than weapon upgrades), which wouldnt really fasten a game.
but the thought behind this suggestion is really nice. 100 gold you get now is worth much more than 100 gold you get in 5 minutes. this is especially crucial if you destroyed some force factories in the base, as you get the bounty for the troops averagely 2.5 minutes later than the defending team.
what about paying the force gold instantly, all the time? as soon as your force kills something (or an enemy creep has not spawned because of control/destruction) the bounty should instantly be divided among the team. if that creates too much fraction problems (especially with the % penalties when a force kills something depending on the number of players in the team), you could wait until the amount of gold the force would give you can be divided evenly among the team players.
this would fix a disadvantage an attacking team has compared to the defending team, and is therefore just logical as i think about it.

personally in my view this topic is dull game time are good thats why there other modes to make the game faster keep it how it is

You could always implement a billion different options into BT that has the potential to satisfy absolutely everyone... but... BT is supposed to be fairly simple.
1) Instead of 'changing it' you could add an option for 3-4min rounds in normal (or whatever). Since the start-game menu's are full of options already, perhaps using commands for 'extra' modes.
eg. -fastrounds or -fm
2/4/6) This is more complex as it can change gameplay considerably. Or not. I wouldnt know. I like having things in theme - more cp = more gold but it may go against gameplay or balance.
- reduced spawn time for holding all cp's would work.
6) Interesting idea, but if you were defending, you wouldnt be able to get to mid to replenish facts in base. That would just be lame.
5) Hmmm.. seems fair enough. Bomb isnt cheap. But in HB bombs are a lot cheaper while CD on mines is still the same. But then again who the hell would use mines in their base? (bombs usually go into the base)
