Anyone have suggestions for mid game. I usually go for heavy tanks plus plasma waves x2, gold hull and speed boost.

i kind of just wing it....
but getting fantastics and fear aren't bad for weapons, as well as air ship and heavy tank for tanks.

It really depends on what your opponent has... it's good to have a fall back like your suggestion but if someone is going air + artillery then you should think about adding an energy torp if it's early and you haven't upgraded your weaps yet... Or... a teleporter if it's mid and you already upped your weapons.
Heavy is great if you need to level towers... however thunder tank is a better farmer... and the airship is better for cp hopping / backdooring. So... just depends on the game...
