Tank/Weapon Specialty
Please specialize the weapons more. At the moment, most weapons are just damage dishers with a few special weapons for specific purposes, such as siege.
Please have more items that are more specific such as
1) Attack heroes only
2) Disabling such as slowing weapons that do low damage but slow enemies attack and movement speed.
3) Siege ( Long ranges)
4) Abilities such as increased attack speed for 10 seconds, or life steal.
5) Uber weapons such as the Frost Laser which are expensive but very powerful.
Weapon Category:
Please categorise each specific weapon into its special shop so it's easy to choose such as a siege item shop, a hero killer shop and so on. Please follow the above list for reference.
Weapon Description:
Please do a short weapon descriptions for items, such as what purpose each weapon is for. I'm sure every item is unique and you can hold a contest for the best description of each item. Example : "Frost Laser - The HIGHEST DPS in the game" or so on.
Tank Description:
Please do a short description for each tank, such as "Sky Fortress - the best flying unit in game" or so on.

I like an idea of descriptions however I already proposed this and it was rejected.
About weap categories - I also had it in mind as it would be useful but t will make game more linear. Today's weapon arrangement gives some 'zest' to this map
Weapons:
1) hero-only 30k 1300r weapon would deal about 1000 dps. I dunno if it would be effective but I greatly doubt it will.
2) & 4) AFAIK such features requires some scripting to be applied with each shot. Such load will make game unplayable.
But interesting proposition - is to make usage on a weapon that for 10 secs increases rate of fire(for only this weapon or of all weapons). I think this could be done easily.
3) This also was discussed earlier AFAIR - such weapons will be imba and tinker will have no chances against it.
5) I think we do need more even overpowered weapons. They are good as they are now.

Everything writes on weapons, they dont need descriptions i think... Just dont be lazy and read on them.

Here is a suggestion:For those who want to play that game more fun instead more balance, There can be a mode : "+Fun" and in this mode there can be weapons that they say; slow or area of effect or lifesteal or whatever... So they stop saying that again and again...
Maybe afterwards we can even balance those weapons...

Just reading is not enough. You need to
analyze,
compare and
decide. To
analyze you need some IQ more than average:) - this is out of discussion:). To
compare - you need to know what is, for ex, low range and what is high range. To make a
decision you must
compare and
analyze before. And this is a bit complicated/takes more time for a noobie. Simple descriptions on weapons and other stuff will help noobs to get involved faster - a
decision will be already written in a description. Even if this decision is made by developers/community, not by player himself. And after a while he will be able to judge himself what is good or what is wrong - this is an approach that most modern program have: provide simple but poor interface(for noobies) and powerful but complicated - for pros.
Also, descriptions must not be as such as you mentioned, horselance. They must not antagonize player from buying it but help him to make a decision. Correct descriptions are the subject of marketing in some way ;-)

Something similar I already suggested so I see this idea begins to be popular:)

It is interesting what exactly for? In general, I didn't get the point. I was talking about descriptions for noobies, not for pro, - to make it easier for them to orient in new map.

The problem with adding all of this 'cool' testing-based stuff is that it is just another time sink. As everything must be updated with patches, and bugs may occur etc..
It also makes the filesize larger, which goes against the ethos of the developers.
