But think that exploders dont gain exp. like other tanks. It wont be too much. 25-30% AoE isnt that much i think.

25-30? You said its 50% at 5th lvl. And how you will increase AOE? + 50% to radius? Its superimba.

I dont think an exploder can reach level 5 ultimate. I dont know how this will be done but it is a trigger and can be changed as desired.

i dont think that can be triggered (maybe im wrong here).


i thought new explosive items must be created with different AoE's each. but unlike altering weapon ranges with a skill, that could be done, as there are only 3 different explosives. :roll:

but even then, it would result in 18 different explosives.

Their damage vary on weapon level. So it is not as abilty. It must be a trigger and not about damage upon death abilty.

i don't think the hyperspace breaker needs any nerfing. if some one goes to the trouble of actually getting one and putting it in a useful spot then he should get the full benefit of the thing. if anything it'd be cool to be able to mount a hyperspace breaker to your tank like a radar.

the only descent thing other than an ability to plant remote mines on the ground that i can think of, that would make any sense, is either planting remote mines on enemy tanks or buildings, planting timed mines on enemy tanks or buildings, or else letting little spider mine-bots loose witch run toward enemies and blow up,,, hmmm, that one sounds a little too familiar though! lol

he could booby trap neutral shops, tower purchase points, and/or relic's to blow up when used... once again, sounds too familiar. lol

he could swap positons with an allied tank

you could let him warp into enemy bases, thus making the hyperspace thingie more useful.

you could let him parachute in to whatever spot on the map he wishes instead of respawning! lol

hmmm, what is another crappy idea i could suggest, i can't be out of them already can i be..?

he could set down a number of teleport spots which are invisible and he can teleport to from anywhere on the map. that's kind of like the remote mines of the dota techie's, but just a little different so u might be able to get away with it.

okay, if u don't like the others this one's really gonna be one that u don't like even more: you change his name to the crocodile wrestling exploder and give him a spawn crocks! ability. which spawns 2 angry crocodiles which in all actuallity would just get run over by a tank cause they are no match... but it'd be cool till they got run over right? :mrgreen:

What about phase shift? Auto resists tank shots, attacks without reflexes? Phasing lasts only 1 sec (unable to move and being attacked for 1 sec). Could be the perfect evasion for the exploderTongue

Cooldown decreases with level.

lv1: 120s
lv2: 96s
lv3: 80s
lv4: 68s
lv5: 60s

Phase shift is used in archery tactics, I think it should work in the same way for tank abilities as well, but I'm not sure about weapons. But it's purpose is to auto dodge a HT shot.

- How many beacons can you place?
- At which rang can u place the beacon?

all balance problems and maybe it will be to good aswell (use it in enemy base? would be nice though). But this would be a nice skill in the theme of the exploder.

i like this idea the best. i was going to suggest this myself. it's kind of like the techie's remote mine ability. but cuase it uses teleporting it's different enough that you could get away with it and still have it be considered origional. i definately think the beacons should be invisible.

The beacon would be too easily gamed... I can drop 2 explosives and run around with a speed pack + smoke machine and lay all my beacons then chill at base. with a full pack of explosives.

Then *KABOOM!!!* ... *WTF!!!*... *I'm quitting!!!* >.<

Also if i get enough multi kills I'll start putting mines on my beacons too

P.S. I'd put it on a mid CP mid game and I have 5 minutes of multikills

All this exploder talk got me thinking about this old exploder ultimate thread. I think the new invisiblity ultimate is pretty cool but also kinda boring and i've got a couple replacement suggestions to torture you with exo and bob.

idea 1. Shadow Clone Jitsu: The exploder makes dummie copies of himself which don't explode when they die, 1 dummy copy at level 1 and 5 copies at the highest level.
idea 2. Bomb Assimilator: The exploder can purchase a bomb and assimilate it. Once assimilated the exploder starts glowing and the bomb dissapears from his inventory. The next time he dies it goes off as he explodes! However, if the exploder hasn't died in 10 to 50 seconds, depending on the level of the skill, the bomb triggers wherever he's at causing him to explode as well! Confusedhock: lmao! :lol: This would result in much more catastrophic noob errors than ever before!!!! why let noob exploders just teamkill when you could let them take out entire sections of thier own base as well?


idea 2 is never to be implemented and is a joke!!!
