if you play with no tinker, and no trader then you try to get one at the trade master of the side tank shops then you get stuck as a pilot. then you can't do anything if you don't have the money for another tank. and if it happens at the trade master you're just stuck! some one i was playing used -afkai or something like that and it gave him a scout and sold all his items, he was in a goblin tank before he got stuck as a pilot. I think nk he was trying to get a lazer tower at the trader tower ruin but missclicked a couple times and ended up stuck for 10 minutes before the ai got him the scout.
If the pilots all had the teleport ability that the starting pilots had it would fix it but that would also make it easier to shop for a side tank as well (which i like). or else the only other thing i can think of is to not allow the tinker or trader purchase through triggers when they are dissabled.
