Cause "pilot" reminds me Tank Wars, and there was a pilot which used to fight

Of I remember the first time I played a tank based map by gryphon (don't remember name exactly). I remember the footman being able to attack. Also it was here I especially got addicted to the tank type maps.

You were forced to use 3rd person view in the early version I played. I think the german version of battle tanks was as it's infant stages or not being started yet. 6 years or something...
