Played this build several times and this is probably the best way to do it. Problems I've seen:
You're not going to get the air ship before the 10 minute mark, probably around 12 or 13 minutes is when I get it most often. From 8 minutes in until you get your air ship you will be extremely fragile and getting any cash will be difficult. At this point one aoe skill nearly kills your entire troop command if your opponents save it for your use. You can be instantly killed by one triple rocket and one or two weapon hits. You have to be so cautious it's not even funny. It's pretty difficult to not get at least a 0-2 or 0-3 score.
Early leavers ruin this immensely. With fewer players on both sides you will be forced to defend a lane and a CP singlehandedly many times. Problem is that you have no real weapons, and your opponents just have more weapons because of leaver gold.
Also the kick "for balance" will ruin your day. You WILL have more deaths than kills until you get an air ship and get your nuke, and probably until you get your plasma rain (ultimate) too. If your opponents have less players than your team, expect your team to kick the person with the worst record. You.
It also relies way, way too much on your teammates not being awful. Playing this way is pretty fun when it works, but I grew frustrated with it in pubs. I had one decent game with it where I ended up destroying the entire enemy base, but I had great teammates and poor opponents.
