The aura seems like a good idea.
In 8.28, I have to wait 25 minutes before I get access to orbital control, my favourite item. After 25 min the enemy probably have changed into stronger tank/hulls and kind of to late :/. Not upgrading and making item never available will kinda suck. You have to upgrade 5 times manually before you can unlock this item, making the price, 7500 gold for the upgrades + the 5000 gold for the item.
