I fear I've missed something but I want to know.

How does it count?

How can I calculate how much gold will I receive from the Force on the next automated creeps' upgrade?
What it depends on?
What can I do to increase it?
What can I do to decrease enemies' income?

All information that I have for now is nothing but pure conjecture.
