I have one of the best connections quality wise in my hometown in Germany.
I am using the same connection Siemens and Infineon is using, because my ISP has a contract with them here.
The standard for quality is therefore very high and the connection stable and fast.

Actually the bot is set up to 90%.
I am just not at home to finish the work.
If GHost++ runs the way it should, the whole thing could start tomorrow.
At the beginning I won't use the banlist option.
I am looking for another set of keys for the bot, because I would like to play, too.
At least from time to time
The bot is running with random-admin for starting the games.
I have to read some manuals to get it done.
No one should have admin-power to kick people out of the bot game.
But under my guidence the bot could start with standard config.

Of course there could be a delay if there is some unforseen trouble.

This is the coolest idea ever!!! if you get it running i'd love to start doing the same thing for lordaeron. my connection to the internet is usually pretty good though my computer is an antique. i can't even zoom out past 3500 without major slow down.

i usually am a fairly descent host and i'd love to run this bot while i'm sleeping if you're cool with it. if my computer can't handle it i'm almost positive i can find more than a couple clan bt guys who'd want to try to do it too. WE ARE ALL COMPLETELY SICK OF NOOBS IN OUR PUBLIC GAMES!!!! BAN THEM ALL!!! BAN THEM ALL TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd appreciate some way to get this going in loradaeron and i'm willing to help if i can.

Ok here is the update.
The bot doesnt host automatically, but he is able to let anyone host who is admin.
I don't know how the autohosting works and I don't want to get involved in the bot coding.
Here is what I can over.
A bot in channel xyz which can host multiple games for people I assign as Admin... for example you.
The command would be "!load btanks854b" -> "!pub <game_name_here>"

The question is... why should anyone want to have a bot hosting for him? Well... I don't know.
I watch the GHost++ board for updates... maybe hans from DIV-League can over the code for the autohosting.

i think i can help with the auto hosting. if u want i could try to write a macro with my autohotkey editor that would take care of it. i've never attempted anything that complex with it but i don't think it would be too difficult. i'd definately like to try. i still plan on hosting my own games without a bot. i'd like to use it to host when i'm not using my computer. that way lordaeron btanks players can get more practice and not suck as bad hopefully. 220 games of btanks hosted a day in lordaeron is really pathetic and most of the players suck do to inexperience imo. there's a painful lack of btanks gameplay volume here.

As for the problem of custom kicking douchebag kids. i'm getting kinda suspicious lately of a hoster in lordaeron. is there any way to tell if you've been custom kicked? i mean, does anyone know what happens? do you go to the end game score screen, or is it the same thing that happens every time?

The custom kicking is like same as the host left the game and all got disconnected, ok not all the time disconnection haappens. You will get a game score screen, but becouse the game was interapted the "Save the Replay" will be disabled.
The only way to detect it is to contact (pm) some one from the game or to "/whois "+red nick, if you get some thing like "the player is not in Bnet", then you were not kicked, but if you get a message like "red is in " + the game title which you had joined, the 99% you were kicked.

Uhh... YOU are disconnected in a custom kick - there is no difference between you disconnecting from them, and vice-versa.

There should also be no lag (or waiting for connection screen) when a custom kick is used - you should go straight to score screen. It also can be useful to /w your ex-teammates and ask if the host just bragged about his custom kick - it is surprising how often they do that.

yup, that's exactly what happened. right after the game started i went right to the score screen. Then i whispered the host, who was still playing, asking him if he'd kicked me because that had never happened to me before and he said i lagged out.

You're right, I should have whispered the other players though instead.
