imo that isnt important... the base should be enterable easiert... and laser towers are just used in the base, then it would also be enough to just increase the HP of all laser towers instead of screwing up the base design for that miss-chance
maybe its a positive effect if the creeps miss sometimes the tower..... at actual version the tower will be attacked by the little zeppelins only. but in future all creeps will attack the towers so its possible that they can be destroyed much faster...
and whats the difference between miss and HP? well, tanks do more damage... but then upgrading the laser towers armor would do just the same as the higher terrain level...
and its the purpose of the new base design, that the base is destroyed earlier... i dont see a problem there, the tanks should be there to defend the base, too, and if the attackers are way better then its just fair they destroy the base...
The base design is quite nice actually. It's now very each to attack head on mid section and penetrate the base. But I only played this version once so far.
i think if one force has upgrades his creeps 2-3 times more then the other, the 2 lasertowers will destroyed after a few mins, so i think they should have a bit more hp (only the 2 towers at the front)
me too. but i think its not enough to give them more hp. more hp means that the tower will survive a little bit longer...
so we shall expect to give them a higher healing rate or something like this.... do you know what i mean?!

They need to be elevated so the ground troops might miss them, making them last 25% longer. The other structures have high ground advantage.
Meanwhile, I made my own base design which I maybe will use myself. It's very big, so it was difficult to make a perfect screenshot. Increasing entrance base level with additional entrance on each side, so attacking the main base becomes more fun and challenging. I don't have the raised the ground at the HQ, but that can be included. Small adjustments with towers and base can be done.
Not to insult the current base design (btw I was inspired from it), but this could be added in a much later version, if you in the future decides to change the base design again...
The point was that it would be cool and nice to have 1 additional base height level.
i would replace the 2 outer laser tower with cannon towers, as i see no reason to change that.
generally i like the second high ground. its not a big advantage ingame which would make the games duration even longer, but rather a psycological advantage and (imo) a layout immprovemet, as the the map generally is quite flat.

also the wall between that entrances is unsynchron, and on the outer ring there is nothing, no factory, no tower (except for directly at the entrances), no trader
well the base design we got now in 8.32 is great, no changes plz ! easy to attack and easy to defend, GR8 JOB don´t change anything plz

This is just details which can be fixed. The outer ring is supposed to be a natural barrier, but of course it empty. I don't know what it could be filled with, perhaps a couple of traders could be moved outside?
no, the height level does not play any role, but i simply dont like the design... and why should i then change the terrain to one which has the same functionality and does only look worse...
this does not mean that there arent problems with the current design... imo laser towers need more armor and perhaps the design in the back corner of the base could be changed, that additional terrain level for the HQ doesnt look that nice^^
erm, just want to remember, that there are 2 laser towers now, not one, like in earlier times...

The laser tower is more than strong enough and don't need more armor!!! (No super laser towers). The normal laser tower is strong enough as it is (If you meant the normal laser tower itself)
The new base design means that you have 3 fronts of defending you base from, instead of 2. Also the factories (commander fabs) are a bit easier to destroy cuz they close to the mid entrance.

armor only affects normal attacks from creeps, no weapons... and if the armor is increased the way it reduces the damage by 25%, then it will do exactly the same as elevated towers... only there wont be the text "miss"
