How about implementing a bug-tracking system instead of forum?
I really didn't considered this deeply but could you pay some attention on this?
As an example you can look an bugzilla used in Mozilla support and development.

Bugzilla is quite a professional system but I believe it can be customized for more simple tasks(such as yours). Or even search for another more simple solution.
Why do we need all this? It's just because I believe this map development would not stay still but advance quickly as new bugs will occur more often. So This system would help to organize all those experience and prevent from duplicating bugs.
