i dont know what the range is on it but it feels like it is under 1000. it would be nice if it range increases with level to a maximum of 1300. i have seen a few games where a scout can be a serious threat to even a titan. i dont know maybe it would unbalance it, but i would like to see it get longer so it can play ranged a bit better in mid-late game.

it should be 1300 range as it fits scouts theme

More range would be too strong, that's why it's set to 1000.

scout is already strong enough as it is increasing range would make it more unbalanced

thats why i said increase with level. i just want the scout to be a little more possible (viable) against like a demon tank and late game/level stuff.

the scout should not have any chance against a demon tank, by all means.
it costs 500 gold, and the demon costs 10000.

dunno if u ever got a scout with 4 rocket hails (all upped), gold hull (upped) and one laser ( long), but that combination OWNS demons... the demon can't get close since ur always amidst of creeps or allies, and the long range is.... imba, every wave u fully hit = 2k hp, so 6 waves without gold hull and 9 with hull would kill it... It's not supposed to own a demon, but with skill, all is possible, ever saw a tinker own demon, sky tank etc?n get a tinekr mass farm mid and get 4 lights gold hull & speed pack, deadly combination ;-)

i disagree i have played many times against players of slightly better skill then me or ones that get slightly better fed than me and have gotten a gold hull and rocket hail and at least scare off a demon tank. One big factor is that every one loves playing short-medium range with a demon tank to make use of its abilities and that means long range is huge help. If i find the time i would be willing to take on a challenge, assuming you dont kick my butt with better skill.
